“Hannah is the most magickal person I have ever come into contact with.  We met at a time in my life when I was undergoing great emotional and spiritual flux; it was 2013, I was months away from going back to school, embarking on a journey of self exploration and  vulnerability in the form of a conservatory acting training program, but more importantly I was beginning to hear the whisperings of the goddess. I was beginning to come into my perception of my own divinity and divine feminine nature through the gentle nudging of the goddess Aphrodite.  The only problem was I had no context for what these signs meant, nobody in my life at the time knew what I was talking about. My friends actually told me I was crazy when I started putting voice to the thought, "maybe I am a goddess."

 Hannah came into my life almost at that exact moment, and by pure chance.  Upon meeting her there was an immediate sense of understanding and soul connection.  She was the first person who didn't laugh or say I might be crazy when I told her the feelings that were developing inside me.  She knew exactly what I was talking about and helped give me context for what I was beginning to notice. Her frank and eager disposition and matter of fact way of speech make her very easy to learn from, and she is always blessedly happy to teach.

I want to reflect on the first time she guided me in a ritual.  It happened organically as we just happened to be spending time together on the full moon.  She took me to the ocean at Ocean Beach, California. All I had on me was a pen and a notebook.  We climbed down steep stone steps to the sand and chose a secluded spot by the cliff. We were all alone and bathed in moonlight.  Hannah took out a jar and ran to the ocean surf and filled it with salt water. She also produced a candle and some stones (I can't remember which ones) seemingly from no where and arranged them carefully and cheerfully in the fae way she has, skipping around the circle she drew.  She called upon the goddess Aphrodite and I felt her presence immediately, or rather I realized I had been bathed in her presence all along and the soft warm moonlight on my skin was an extension of Aphrodite's love and grace. This is the work Hannah does. She knows the magick of the mundane and arcane and brings them in synthesis.  I wrote down my wishes on the journal pages I brought at the beach that night. I kept them on my altar for 3 years. All of them came true.

I came to Hannah recently with a lot of emotional pain in my life.  It was physically manifesting itself in my body, particularly my solar plexus, and causing me physical pain as well.  I was visiting her at her house and when I told her about my energy malaise she insisted that she do energy healing on me.  I remember feeling resistance and a little embarrassment because our mutual friend was present and I know Hannah's abilities and was afraid of exposing what she might uncover in me at that moment.  But I went towards my fear, knowing that Hannah has never brought nor will never bring magick into my life that might hurt me.

She had me lay down on my back, and placed different stones in my hands and at key energy points.  She put her hands on my forehead and neck and chest and I remember feeling the vibrations of power through her palms.  She then dropped a particular stone on my solar plexus and in the instant it felt like the cavernous protection against my emotional pain my body had built up inside had been wrenched open, and all of the shit came out for lack of a better phrase.  This release manifested itself in crying, like most of my releases do, and through each sob I felt the pain and energy block ease, and my faith in myself to overcome my tribulations grow.

 

I have been remarkably lucky to count Hannah as a mentor, spiritual guide, healer, and friend.  Her gifts are absolutely essential to the world right now, and to all people who are suffering and have their faces turned to the light.  She is most inspiring to me in the way she infuses magick into her every day life. With Hannah, selfies become spells and a poem an incantation.  She is a natural teacher and I learn from her all the time! I am beyond thankful she came into my life when she did.”
